Faisal Mubashir has all that what it takes to be a good all-rounder. In batting he holds the key number 3 positon for his Bahawalpur division side. Faisal is the right kind of a person for a position where you have to shift gears as per the opening stance.
Faisal can hit the ball hard and he can also rotate the strike on ball to ball basis. He is also handy with his right arm off breaks with a little bit of variations as well. He seems a fine choice to be put through among the list of all-rounders PCB should select and give a chance before the next world cup.
If we take a look at his last seven innings, Faisal has scored some heavy runs in almost all of them. Remaining not out in 5 of them and hitting a total of 322 with an impressive average of 161 Faisal surely looks promising with his temperament and technique.

Today against the Hyderabad division he again fired a quick 61 of mere 47 deliveries. Maintain a strike rate of above 120, Faisal scored 7 boundaries in his immensely calculated innings. He belted his first boundary by just pushing the ball through the point region putting weight on his back foot.
A fielder was present at square but he had lost the race against the shot. Kashif the left arm off spinner was lofted over his head by Faisal to score his second boundary. Again a very calculative stroke, didn’t press the ball too hard, just a straight push and the ball went one bounce over the fence.
Faisal gained another boundary in the same over courtesy a hard slog down the leg side. Later when he peddled up the gas, Faisal played a very commanding reverse sweep Kashif followed by a Tilk scoop against Mir to fetch two boundaries in two consecutive overs.
The scoop almost got him caught behind, luckily it went inches near the diving hands of the keeper. At the final stages Faisal hit Mir for two back to back fours to reach his half century. The slog towards mid-wicket made him reach the land mark.
While the top edge of a slow ball variation took the top edge of his bat and ran down towards the deep third man boundary for the second boundary. In the same over Faisal was dropped at long on but by that time it hardly mattered.
His 61 not out enabled his team to reach a healthy total of 160 runs and at the moment Hyderabad are 150 for 3 in 18.4 overs, match hangs in the balance for both the sides.
